Jay Jean Jackson is an author, scriptwriter, artist, and photographer. She also writes regularly for magazines and newspapers.
Jay Jean Jackson's first book, Douc's Adventures In Mexico, was published in 2025. It follows the adventures of Douc, a red shanked douc monkey as he gets lost in Mexico and meets a host of other animals and new friends.
She also writes regularly for Turkish Archaeological News and Voices Newspaper on archaeology and mythology in Western Turkey.
Originally from the UK, Jay has travelled the world following her love of nature and wildlife. She takes inspiration from the antics of different creatures for her books, photography and drawings.
Jay has also written stage plays and is working on several film projects.
